Kenneth Ray Boswell, age 76, of Forrest City, died Friday, June 19, 2026, at his home in Forrest City. He
had been in poor health for the past several years.
Mr. Boswell was born August 13, 1949, in Marianna, and was the son of Clarence Eugene Boswell and
Annie Lorine Burns Boswell. He lived in Marianna and Forrest City most of his life, was a past employee
of Yale Hoist and Sanyo, and graduated from Marianna T.A. Futrell High School in 1968. He was a
member of the Oak Hill Church of God.
Mr. Boswell married Betty Jean Jones in 1970, and she survives him along with one son, Michael Wade
Boswell, and wife, Michelle, of Forrest City, one brother, Clarence Eugene ‘Dewey’ Boswell of Flint,
Michigan, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; James Edward
Boswell, Troy Lee Boswell, and Robert Wayne Boswell, and five sisters; Christine Smith, Velma Horton,
Emma Goslow, Peggy Franklin, and Shirley McCorick.
Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, with burial in Hughes
Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home, with Stevens Funeral
